Connie enjoys studying and training her German Shepherd Dog for the sport of Mondioring (protection sport) using reward based (positive) training methods. She also enjoys helping people and their dogs find and accomplish goals for their personal training plans.
We are committed to finding the perfect balance between you and your dog. Working to provide a safe, correct, and practical approach to training.
Our training is based in the science of dog ethology and learning theory and how it applies to dogs (remember Pavlov's dogs?). We know through this science that training should be a positive experience for the dog, which in turn will strengthen the working relationship between owner and dog and result in both a happy dog and owner.
Strategic Paws Training is operated right here in the Winchester and Stephens City area in beautiful Virginia. We offer a selection of classes, because we believe every person and every dog deserve positive training opportunities.
"Still can't thank you enough for the work you did with Charlie. I never thought I would get a picture like this - but so glad how things worked out!!" Nina L. - Front Royal
